The main goal for the Loretta Lynn Amateur Regional Championship this past weekend in Lakewood, CO was to qualify in at least one class for the largest amateur race in the world. We made it in with a 5th place overall in the College Boy class. This race was by far the best I have ever ridden at a big event like this and had such medicore results. My starts were my biggest weakness for the weekend. I had one top 5 start and I finished in 2nd place in that moto. In my other races over the weekend I started outside the top 25 and was able to pass into the top 8 in a 4 lap races. It was a good confidence builder knowing that we can come through the pack like that but frustrating at the same time because I know that I belong at the front of these races. But this was just another opportunity to learn and to grow! I'm going to make sure that my starts are my biggest strong point for the first week in August at Loretta Lynn's ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN. Its a great feeling to see all of the hard work starting to pay off on race day. All the glory goes to God, I would not be where I am out without all of his guidence! I am so blessed to have the family that I do and all of the people that believe in me! Thank you everyone
