We made it down to Texas and everything is going great! We raced at the Freestone Mx track in Wortham, Texas today and overall everything went really well. This is the same track that I am racing next weekend for the Loretta Lynn Regional Qualifier so we wanted to get some more time on the track. I ended up with a 9th and 13th overall today in the 250 and 450 Pro classes. I am pretty happy with the way the I rode and am very grateful to finally be feeling healthy and good on the bike. I know exactly what I need to work on this week in order to be ready for next weekend's race. We are on our way to a thousand trails campground right now to stay for the week. The campground is at lake conroe and is about 30 mins away from a really good practice track. Of course all of the glory goes to God, and I cant thank my entire family enough for all of the support over the years! Racing at the level we are at right now is so much fun and I couldn't be here without everyone! So thank you guys! Also a big thank you to the G-Force powersports crew, my bikes and everything are running so well! Be sure to check for new photos and videos.
Sorry that it has taken me so long to get this update posted everyone! Over the weekend of May 5th I raced a South Central Loretta Lynn area qualifier in Lakewood, CO. Overall the weekend went really well and I qualified in all 4 of my classes for the Regional race in Texas the first weekend in June. The crash I had at the Sterling race took more of a toll on my body than we originally thought! I was unable to train or ride the week prior to this race due to soreness and my stomach area not feeling well. For the Lakewood race every moto I was having sharp stomach pains and I was unable to finish my races really strong like I am used to! Luckily my starts were really good this weekend so I was able to hold on for qualifying positions. The Monday after the race I went to the Drs. I found out that I had some swollen and bruised internal organs and the Dr. suggested rest and lots of it! My next race will be the amateur days race at the pro national in Texas the last weekend in May! Starting next week I will work my way back to my training and riding schedule to be ready for our Texas trip. The amateur day race is on the same track as our Loretta Lynn Regional qualifier the following weekend. I will post updates and photos as much as I can while were in Texas.
